Looe Weekender

Every year since taking over The Jolly Sailor, Garry and Zoe have worked with Route2Events founder, Mark Wilson, to put on a free stage in West Looe in September.

This began because the Looe Music Festival were charging for tickets and we felt we needed to give something back to the local community. Thus, Route 2 The Jolly was founded - a collaboration between ourselves and Mark Wilson... sound engineer, band finder and stage manager extraordinaire!

As the years have gone by and the town have constantly tried to rescue several pull-outs from the big boys, we have continued to run the West Looe Stage with gaining popularity.

Last year saw great success as the town took over the running of the festival and, once again, saved the day. Feedback from visitors and locals alike was that this was "what a music festival SHOULD be".
